Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this commodity software a spread sheet?
A: No. This is a very fast compiled program with extensive database files. This software incorporates over 50
separate Window form files plus another 12 program files, 10 report files and 13 data files for a total of 80
plus separate files. A tremendous amount of programming has gone into this software!
Q: How many separate brokerage accounts or individual accounts can this commodity software handle?
A: Over 1,000 separate accounts if desired.
Q: What is the maximum number of trades this commodity software can handle?
A: Virtually unlimited (size of your hard disk drive).
Q: Does the commodity software provide for the entry of commissions and fees?
A: Yes. Different brokers charge different commissions plus day trades and overnight trades usually have different
commissions.
Q: Sometimes after I enter a trade I discover I made an error.
A: No need to delete the trade. The software has a provision to adjust the price or commission to the correct
figure whether it's an open or closed trade. If it is a closed trade your P&L will be automatically re-calculated.
Q: Some times when I make a trade I like to make a note or comment about the trade. Is there any
provision for that?
A: Yes. There is an optional provision to enter a comment about the trade if you wish - such as where to put a
stop loss, trading method used or any comment you wish.
Q: Is the program easy to use?
A: Yes. Very easy to use. It is all menu driven. All you have to do is answer the questions when making a new
trade or closing out an existing trade.
Q: What versions of Microsoft Windows will it run on?
A: All of these versions: Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
Q: Will Electric Scorecard II work on a network?
A: Yes
Q: Sometimes the commodity exchange changes the size of the contract. Do I have to get an upgrade
for this?
A: No. There is a provision where you can easily make this change yourself.
Q: What about technical support?
A: You get FREE unlimited technical support.
Q: Are there any monthly fees I have to pay?
A: No. This is a great feature. (other accounting software programs do have monthly fees.)
